It's as if there is some force out there doing its best to bring you down, mocking you while you slip lower and lower. I love this chord progression. It was written in deepest despair and yet I'm drawn to it. I play it before going on stage most nights. It reminds me how lucky I am to be heading out to play my music, on my guitar, in front of an audience, instead of being stuck in some hell, somewhere else. Glyn and the band helped me realize a dream on this one, to play and record live with a level of expression and style that really draws the listener into the vibe of the song.
