From the Anthology CD: STARRY NIGHT: Looking up at a beautiful night sky filled with stars and planets can stir all sorts of deep and soulful questions. I often look up and ask just what exactly is going on with our world. The twist is that the question is asked from a position of respect and awe of life itself and its creator. Can we believe, challenge that belief, but still carry on even in the face of all that life throws at us day after day? I recorded the melody in one take, a few days after September 11, 2001, struggling with these very questions, but keeping the faith.
