Notes
From the Anthology:
THE CRUSH OF LOVE: One night I'm home alone, wishing my wife were with me. So, I turned that longing into make believe loneliness for effect and inspiration. Then, I picked up my bass and wrote this song. I've always been a big fan of bassist Larry Graham of Sly and the Family Stone and that influence really shows on this track. This was originally recorded for a Guitar Player magazine Flexi record, but it turned out so good Relativity wanted to release it as a single. Jeff's backbeat is monstrous!
We eventually made it the lead track on the otherwise live EP "Dreaming #11," and it went on to become a fan favorite.
