From the Anthology CD: In my head are all sorts of unusual chord progressions the relate to my experiences and impressions of life. They are personal items, really. Sometimes I build songs around them. The opening chords are related to an observation I had about the cyclic nature of conflict and resolution around the world. The suspended thirteenth chords say that to me for some reason. It took about ten years for me to finish building a song around them! Jeff's drum solo over the tag section is cool, expressive and heavy all at once.
